Foto Source is White Rock and South Surrey's most complete independent camera and photography store. Our staff is all highly qualified and prepared to help with any question or concern you may have.

Location

Find us in Central Plaza at the southwest corner of 16th Ave. (North Bluff) and 152 St. (Johnston Rd). We have lots of free parking right at our door. This is the same center with Shoppers Drug Mart and the Toronto Dominion Bank. See Map.

Our History in White Rock

The store started over 40 years ago as a small camera counter in the back of a local drug store (Reid's Western Drugs and later Reid's Pharmasave). The counter slowly expanded as it was moved around inside the drug store for a number of years. Then, in the early 1980's, the photo area was ready to expand again and this time moved out of the drug store, becoming Photo Mart at the north end of Central Plaza in an area approximately where the entrance to the TD Canada Trust bank is today.

Within a few years it outgrew this space as well and moved to its current location in the shopping center. Shortly after that a "One Hour Minilab" was added to the services offered. As time went by and the store continued growing, it became obvious that to remain competitive and to be able to stock more inventory, the time had come to become part of something bigger, though still retaining the local services and products that the store's customers had come to expect.

This was when the store became part of the Foto Source Canada group, and within a short time the store changed its name to Foto Source to reflect this partnership. Approximately seven years ago the interior of the store was completely renovated to incorporate the national Foto Source colours. Since then we have added many new inventory items and exciting services.

However, we have always remained true to our original goals to provide individual, knowledgeable service and high quality products to our customers at prices that are competitive – not only through the Lower Mainland but nationally as well.
